Potassium humate is a drug that has a stimulating effect on the growth and development of various crops, its main action is directed at the root system of the plant. It can reduce the increased acidity of the soil and speed up its metabolic processes. The drug promotes the development and strengthening of the plant as a whole. The composition of potassium humate includes: macro-and microelements; humic acids (ha); bioactive amino acids; substances that affect plant growth; antibacterial components; wax, fats; amino acids and enzymes. The composition may differ in the concentration of components used, and depending on this, the scope of application changes.

Potassium stimulates the process of photosynthesis, promotes the formation of sugar and absorption of carbohydrates by the sample.

Planting material (seeds, seedlings) and adult plants are processed with the potassium humate. It is widely used in hydroponics. There are several ways of fertilizing plants – by watering or soaking the seeds. The soil should be alkaline or podzolic type. If you use humate on fertile lands (chernozems), you will not see a positive result.

Liquid Humic Acid

Gardeners use potassium humate when it is needed to:

  1. Prepare seeds for planting. In this case we recommend to use the drug in liquid form.
  2. Feed the seedlings.
  3. Make watering of plants or seedlings in the garden and in the greenhouse.
  4. Process samples in the period of flowering and fruiting. A slightly concentrated solution (0.1%) is used for spraying.

Processing of a yearling should be held at the beginning of the growing season – the formation of inflorescences. Growing seedlings

Potassium humate helps not only young crops but it helps to increase resistance to diseases and pests, the negative impact of the environment on seedlings. The product also increases the survival rate of the crop after planting on the garden beds.

Liquid humate is more suitable for seedlings. If you prefer the powder form you need to loosen the soil, which in this situation is fraught with damage to the unformed roots of the plant. When used as a fertilizer Humic Acid

Fields of application: 1. For fertilizing greens, bulbous crops and root crops. Processing is carried out evenly throughout the growing season, but no later than 14 days before harvest.  2. Potassium humate is used for fertilizing cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes. The plant is watered during planting seedlings in the garden. Co-use of potassium humate and phosphorus-type fertilizers is prohibited, since this leads to undesirable consequences for vegetables up to the death of the plant. It is not recommended to mix it with calcium nitrate.

It is also possible to process the planting material with this agricultural product. To prepare the solution, mix 0.1 l of the drug and 1 l of the liquid. For indoor plants

Fertilizing is carried out from the end of winter to the beginning of autumn, but not more frequently than 1 time in a period of 14 days. To prepare the solution required for spraying, use 0.1 l of the product and 1 l of water. Watering is carried out with the same concentrate.

Precautionary measures while working

To avoid a negative reaction from the use of humates, you need to keep to the dosage and know about the compatibility of fertilizers. This product cannot be combined with superphosphates and calcium nitrate. It can lead to the accumulation of insoluble salts in the soil. Potassium humate is a universal complex preparation.
