Phosphorus fertilizers give a stronger development for young plants and increase their resistance to drought. As a phosphorus fertilizer, it is recommended to use humated superphosphate. In addition to phosphorus, it contains elements such as iron, manganese, and molybdenum. It is applicated three times at the rate of 16 g per 1 sq.m: in spring, summer and autumn.
Potash is necessary for lawn grasses throughout the growing season for the intensive formation of shoots. When autumn feeding, it increases the resistance of plants to frost, applicate it in three doses at the rate of 10 g per 1 sq.m. Due to the special role of potassium in the life of lawn grasses, it is recommended to use concentrated humic fertilizers only on a potash basis.
If possible, the lawn is fed with organic fertilizers, it is better to apply humated compost. They are applied after the last mowing of plants in winter or early spring, spending 5 kg per 1 sq.m.
When growing turf, lawn grasses are sown on a layer of soil 2 cm thick, poured on a wrap. Crops are watered daily and covered at night with a film to maintain optimal humidity.
In this technology, it is especially important to use liquid fertilizer, since weekly watering allows plants to develop better in a small root layer.
Liquid peat contributes to the increased growth of the root system, which allows you to create a dense layer of turf.
